Solitude & Silence
The rushing pace of life makes it difficult to find a moment to ourselves. Yet we long to set aside a time to be alone with God. How can we best spend that time once we have it? What will be the results in our lives?
This guide looks at the disciplines of solitude and silence before God. Developing these disciplines guides us toward a more interactive relationship with God in which we can hear God’s voice and allow that voice to shape our lives.
Spiritual disciplines are a time-tested means of connecting us to the God who wants to transform our souls. We discover the disciplines in the Bible as we look at the everyday ways Jesus related to God. This series is designed to help us live in God’s presence by incorporating these spiritual practices into our lives.
