Study & Meditation
Reading the Bible is one of the most important disciplines we can engage in. Why is Bible study so significant? How can our attitude and approach affect what we get out of our reading? What does it mean to “meditate” on Scripture? How can meditating on God’s Word change us?
The way we approach the Bible affects our interaction with God. Learning to immerse ourselves in God’s thoughts through study and meditation allows us to go deeper into God’s Word and live in a more Christlike way.
Spiritual disciplines are a time-tested means of connecting us to the God who wants to transform our souls. We discover the disciplines in the Bible as we look at the everyday ways Jesus related to God. This series is designed to help us live in God’s presence by incorporating these spiritual practices into our lives.
