The Scandal of the Kingdom Workbook, based on the teachings of the late beloved author Dallas Willard, will aid you in this kind of exploration of many of the parables that Jesus told. Each lesson will help you understand the heart behind a parable, how Jesus used it to communicate the realities of God and life in his kingdom.

User Comment:  VERY helpful! I have no problem to understanding what Dallas explains in the book, "The Scandal.." But the workbook nails it down in my soul. I swim as fast as I can through deep waters but I thank you for your readiness to do that for us readers.

Dallas Willard’s ideas have and are being used by Jesus to reframe discipleship in ways that have dramatically changed my life and many others. Why this talk? 

Increasingly I'm being asked to describe Dallas's ideas either to introduce people to his writing or to clarify his major themes. As the author of Renovation of the Heart in Daily Practice, Hearing God through the Year, Dallas Willard’s Study Guide to the Divine Conspiracy, and numerous short study guides to his HarperOne books, this is something I've been doing all along! 

So now I'm having fun putting the thoughts all into one piece (but I could do multiple talks if you desire that!).  This flows out of my passion for these ideas as well a calling as the chair of Dallas Willard Ministries.
